Therapy Catered to People Like You
As a highly ambitious working professional, entrepreneur, athlete, or busy mom, it’s tough to balance feeling accomplished and experiencing peace, joy and rest. We can help.
By integrating physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, Whole Health Counseling helps individuals find peace, balance, and fulfillment while not limiting themselves from achieving BIG goals.
Whole Health Counseling offers psychotherapy services that are designed with the high achiever, perfectionist, the giver, the highly sensitive person, and the neurodivergent (think ADHD, HSP, ASD) adult in mind. Many people who come to Whole Health may be questioning themselves and wondering if they are neurodivergent or gifted and maybe never got diagnosed when they were younger, but can clearly see they are different from many people around them. While Whole Health offers counseling and not formal assessments (we can provide referrals for that), the practice is built with people like you in mind. If you’re feeling very overwhelmed, frequently discouraged, convinced something is wrong with you or that you’re not good enough, this is your place to land and rethink that story!

The Therapist
I’m Alli, a fellow self-diagnosed high achiever, perfectionist, highly sensitive, gifted, neurodivergent person. I also have lived a long life as a people-pleaser, with many of these tendencies stemming from my own experience of being born into a community of extreme evangelical beliefs.
I cater my practice to neurodivergent people and specialize in religious trauma (and all attachment trauma) because I know what it was like to not be able to find a therapist who really “got” me. I want to be able to be there for you and really get why trauma hits differently for ADHD, gifted, HSP, and other neurodivergent folks.
Why Would I go to Therapy?
-
If you’re tired of staying stuck in the same patterns over and over again (maybe you’ve even tried therapy before and still have not seen the changes you want), this is a great time to consider therapy that takes the work a level deeper. Talk therapy is one step of the process, but it’s not all. The next step is healing your subconscious mind and your body, where trauma memories, old unhealthy stories, and engrained patterns are stored. Modalities such as EMDR and IFS help you move beyond insight and into transformation and integration.
-
Are you anxious to address a recent event or a past experience that is causing significant disruption or pain in your present life? Or are you a couple that would like immediate help in a more convenient and faster way where you don’t have to wait for the next opening in 2-3 weeks to dive deeper and start to see progress in your relationship?
If either of these situations sound like you, a therapy intensive might be the ideal service for you, rather than traditional weekly or biweekly therapy.
Individual therapy intensives are available for trauma processing and healing utilizing EMDR and IFS parts work approaches to dig deep and heal the event or series of experiences as efficiently as possible, going straight to the root.
Couples therapy intensives are ideal for couples where one or both partners travel and have difficulty scheduling traditional weekly or biweekly therapy. They also work well for couples with children because they can get help for one specific chunk of time all at once and get further faster. Intensives are also a better fit for couples in crisis or any couple that wants more immediate help. Traditional couples therapy can feel like it’s going at a very slow pace, and many couples drop out due to scheduling issues and waiting to see progress as rapport is built between the therapist and two people. Intensives allow for more efficient and effective progress forward, and the container creates a space to go deeper all at once, rather than focusing on current “fires” to put out on a weekly or biweekly basis that may prevent going further into the root issues.
